The Museum’s Secret by Henry Chancellor

Set in a derelict and forgotten museum, Tom Scatterhorn finds himself helping his previously never introduced Aunt and Uncle to restore their family museum.  However, curiosity, as he discovers, can lead to trouble and that the oddest things can happen without notice.

As he learns, there is a lot to be learnt from this museum; the exhibits talk! Ranging from a deadly tiger to a friendly eagle, he always gets a helping hand or a bit of advice from these creatures. But as the clouds darken, something happens that changes the museum’s future…

I found this book a real gripper and page-turner although it was so long. Grabbing you from the first word, this book transports you to Tom’s world. This always has you on the edge of your seat. Highly recommended.
